Born in 1999 in the Carpathian Mountains of western Ukraine, Yurii grew up surrounded by nature and culture — an environment that sparked his deep appreciation for people’s stories and the world around him. These early influences continue to shape his visual work today.

While studying tourism in Lviv, Yurii discovered his passion for photography. Over the years, he explored a wide range of genres — from landscapes to weddings — experiences that refined his style and broadened his perspective. He now primarily focuses on portrait, street, and abstract photography, working in both color and black & white to reflect the diversity of human experience.

Since 2022, Yurii has been based in Richmond, North Yorkshire, UK.

As he puts it:

"Photography is a way to see this world from countless perspectives. It has changed how I view people — and the world itself. For me, photography is about compassion and self-discovery."

Yurii’s work has been recognized in several competitions:

Winner in two categories of the Andrii Konyk Memorial Photo Contest (Ukraine, 2021)
